Activities
- Planning and supervision of the upgrade in the voice and data network.
- Providing support for the existing backbone data network as well as for the local networks in each building.
- Co-operation with other academic institutions for the inclusion of the Ionian University in the Greek Universities Network (GUNet).
- Providing support for the University’s central server as long as the network and its services is concerned.
- Providing support, in terms of network problems, for the individual PCs of each lab.
- Organisation and support for the uion.edu.gr domain of the I.U.
- Providing support to all members of the academic community in terms of network troubleshooting.
- Development of and support for all Department Web-pages.
